Our Impact
For over eight years, Leeds Baby Bank has existed with the mission of making sure no child goes without. We do this by supporting families in Leeds, with children aged 0-5 years, who are experiencing poverty.
Why we exist
A child experiencing poverty is more likely to grow up having
poorer mental and physical health
a shorter life expectancy
lower educational attainment
and lower paid, insecure work.
How we help
By providing essential items and a supportive, dignified experience for parents, we are helping to ensure that children in Leeds have the best possible start in life. Our work contributes to the wider ambition across the city to strengthen families, reduce inequalities, and give every child the opportunity to grow up safe, healthy and able to thrive.
